The China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) Science and Technology Research Center is located in the central area of the Shahe Group in Changping New Town, Beijing. It is one of the key engineering projects built by Sinopec to improve the research environment, cultivate research talent, accelerate the development of core technologies with independent intellectual property rights, and promote scientific development.
The Sinopec Science and Technology Research Center project is a significant engineering project with major influence both domestically and internationally. The total land area of the project is 22.52 hectares, with a planned total building area of 270,000 square meters. Upon completion, it will form four major functional areas: laboratories, offices, data centers, and archives, along with a complex of buildings including the main office building, comprehensive service building, archive building, data center, research building, and research factory.
