Clock Control

The system has a built-in solar calendar, allowing users to control the curtains according to their usage needs with an overall timetable. The curtains can perform preset actions at scheduled times.

For example, 15 minutes before work, 15 minutes after work, 1 hour before sunrise, 1 hour after sunset, holidays, night lighting periods, etc. The curtains can be set to open, close, or stop at a certain position during the upcoming time.

 

Solar Adaptive Control - Hyperion Solar Adaptive Control

Hyperion Solar Adaptive Control, driven by Quantum, is the core unit of automatic curtain control. This system adjusts the curtains throughout the day based on the sun's position and light intensity, minimizing glare and solar radiation while maximizing the use of outdoor natural light to achieve the best balance of shading, lighting, and transparency.

By combining the project's local geographic coordinates (longitude and latitude values) and time zone, the solar elevation angle and azimuth angle relative to the building facade can be calculated at any moment. Azimuth angle: used to determine which curtains are within the current solar irradiation range. Elevation angle: the sun's height angle, which is also the angle of sunlight incidence, is a key parameter for calculating the position of the roller blinds.

After obtaining the sun's position information, to prevent glare from entering the work area and to introduce natural light as much as possible, the curtain control system must accurately and in real-time calculate the lowering height of the roller blinds. The height (h) of the bottom rod from the ground after the roller blinds are lowered is determined by the following parameters: y1: height of the working surface; x1: depth allowed for sunlight to enter; Ø: angle of sunlight incidence.

 

 

 

Wireless Sunlight Sensor

Good lighting and external views can make employees comfortable and lead to high productivity while saving indoor lighting costs. The Quantum system uses wireless sunlight sensors to collect external light intensity. It retracts the roller blinds when in the shadow of nearby buildings or during cloudy weather, and lowers the roller blinds when facing glare from nearby buildings or on sunny days.

 

   

 

The sunlight sensor is placed between the curtain fabric and the glass. When the external sunlight intensity is very high and exceeds the system's set limit, the roller blinds in that area automatically lower (a delay time can be set according to user needs) to prevent direct sunlight from entering the office area and affecting user work.

 

 

When clouds pass by or on cloudy days, if the sunlight intensity detected by the sensor is below the system's set limit, the roller blinds in the shadow are automatically retracted (a delay time can be set according to user needs to avoid frequent actions).

 

 

 

 

 

Centralized Monitoring

Luchuang centrally controls all devices in the system through its own Quantum Vue software, allowing for free definition of control forms and content. For example, curtains on different facades of the building can be controlled separately, and centralized control can be applied to the same facade curtains of different buildings, with real-time monitoring of device status through a visual interface.

Main management content includes: control and monitoring, reporting, management.

Centralized control and local control can be flexibly switched. The system can set local control as a priority and priority time periods. After the local priority time ends, the devices automatically merge into the system's centralized control.

All control software provides a Chinese interface.

The software is built into the processor and can also be pre-installed on mobile devices (phones, computers) for remote monitoring of the system.

A centralized control switch can be set according to needs, which can control all curtains in a room, area, floor, or even the entire building to act together.

Clock Control

A time control schedule can be set for the curtains in a specific room or area. The curtains in that area will automatically perform corresponding actions, such as opening, closing, or running to a 50% position, after reaching the set time point. Customers can set corresponding curtain actions based on work hours, weekends, holidays, and nighttime.

Emergency Control

In emergency situations such as fire alarms, all roller blinds in the building or those in a specific area should automatically retract immediately. Third-party Integrated Control: The curtain control system can be integrated and controlled by third-party systems (such as building systems BACnet, conference systems, etc.).

Emergency Control - Integrated Link Control with Third-party Devices

 

BACnet Integration: Integrated with building automation systems through the BACnet protocol. The Quantum system uses the BACnet/IP protocol.

Luchuang devices are all BACnet certified BTL, ensuring seamless integration with BACnet without the need for any protocol editing or conversion devices, ensuring stable communication.

RS232 Integration: Mostly for AV integration applications.

Ethernet Serial Protocol Integration: Sends TCP/IP protocol data packets, executing communication protocols with the same semantics as RS232.

Dry Contact Integration: Through pre-arranged curtain control logic, the Quantum system can respond to dry contact integration signals from other control management systems to complete various control logics; at the same time, Quantum can also send dry contact signals as response feedback.
